Our August Edible Book Contest was such a success, that we’ve decided to do it again. Show your creativity and enter! The rules are simple, express your idea of a book title or theme or page using an edible medium.

What: Edible Book Contest

When:  November 21, 2009

Who:  Contest Categories for Children – 6 years of age, 7 to 12, 13-17 and adults                                            

Time:  Deliver contest entries by 2:00 pm

            Voting on entries from 2:30-3:30 pm

            Winners announced at 4 pm

  Our Summer Reading Program Theme Be Creative,   reached new heights this past Tuesday ,  August 4th when 21 entries were submitted for our First Edible Book Contest. The rules were simple, express your  idea of a favorite book using edible materials.  Four age groups ,Children 6 and under, Children 7-12, Teens 13-17 and Adults submitted entries for the categories of Easiest Recognised, Funniest and Most Creative.  Robert Parizeau, won the Grand Prize, a People’s Choice Award  determined by  library customers votes.
