A Taste of Morocco
Thursday, August 4 6-7:30 PM
Sip a cup of fresh mint tea, and let Vista resident and author Kitty Morse introduce you to the culture, cuisine, and colorful souks (open air markets) of her native Morocco. During the 50-minute Power Point presentation, you will discover the history and technique behind family recipes handed down through the generations, from exotic stews known as tagines, to couscous, and world-renowned bestila, the sweet, saffron-scented chicken “pie” that is the crowning dish of Morocco’s culinary repertoire. A book signing will follow the presentation.
Limited to the first 30 to sign up at the Reference Desk.
