Eating Smart- Being Active

Join Mary Maser from the University of California Cooperative Extension Services at the Vista Branch Empowerment Center as she offers a free nutrition program for low-income adults/parents. The six lessons will cover; nutrition, physical activity and healthy lifestyles, how to plan and prepare tasty, low-cost, safe and nutritious family meals and snacks. Participants will receive an incentive for each class and a certificate of completion. Crafts for children older than age 5 will be provided in the Children’s area during classes. Classes will be available in English and Spanish. Sign up by calling 760-643-5120

Learn how to download eBooks, audiobooks and videos from the San Diego County Library on the Overdrive Digital Bookmobile. Staff from Overdrive will be at the Vista Branch on Valentines Day with instructional videos, interactive computer stations and a fully loaded gadget gallery, readers of all ages will experience new ways to enjoy digital books and more from the public library.
