 Service Learners (14 – 17 yrs) Needed!

 Service Learners are needed to help with the kids’ summer reading club. Orientation is June 10, at 2 PM  3:30 pm in the library’s community room. Applicants must complete a service learner application ahead of time (parent signature required) to attend the orientation and to begin volunteering. Thursday, July 5, 2:30-3:30  Build a dark and creepy shadow box with Maribel DeLucca

Thursday, July 12, 2:30-4:30  Recycle old puppets into darker, creepier versions of themselves with the San Diego Puppetry Guild

Sunday, July 29, 2:00-3:00  Actress Jude Wolinsky does a one-woman show on Joan of Arc, 600 years after her birth in France

Friday, August 3, 6:00-10:00 p.m.  Teens are locked into the library after it closes.  Food, games, “America’s Next Top Monster” contest!
